The National Medical Fellowships Diversity in Clinical Trials Research Program (NMF Dctr) seeks to increase patient diversity in clinical trials by training underrepresented minority (URM) clinicians to serve as Principal Investigators (PIs) in clinical research. The mission of the NMF Dctr is to increase URM minority patient engagement and participation in clinical research and to improve health outcomes by ensuring the safety and efficacy of drug treatments and therapeutics for all intended target populations.
